The Cherub Lamp Reborn

March 4, 2016

When you reach a certain age you start to think about what you are leaving behind. This is a small thing. It won't solve world hunger. It won't stop gun violence. It doesn't offer a new cure to save lives. But you have to offer the world what you have to give to it. I am not an agricultural scientist, a politician, or an expert in the medical field. So this is what I CAN do.

I installed a daily quotes app on my phone and recently it offered this sound advice:  "If you can't do great things, do small things in a great way."   -Napoleon Hill

Yes, "great" is too grand a word in this instance, but reaching for that elusive ideal is what drives all artists and craftsman. Doing your best, and leaving behind quality work.
